HOW TO HEAL THE SICK (with Torben Søndergaard)                                                                               Simple tools that can help YOU see people healed!                                                                      

Notes from the above video:

**Lay hands on the person 
*Know what the Bible says about healing --- Mark 16:15-18 --- ...[Jesus] said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.  He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.  And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues;  they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover."

**Pray in faith (you don't have to anoint the person with oil but that can be done)
*Don't close your eyes because it is better to be able to see the person's facial/body reaction 

*Simply speak to the sickness and command it to go. Torben has also had good results when asking for God to heal the person so they can see that God is real. But it's not so much about how you pray, it's about FAITH. Alternatively, we can speak something as simple as: "In the name of Jesus, be healed from ___." We can Speak to the body in the name of Jesus to be healed.

*If not healed, pray again. Don't give up. 80% of Torben's encounters in prayer took 3-4 prayers for the person to get healed. It is even recorded once that Jesus had to pray twice to heal a blind man. Keep pressing in, knock and keep knocking, seek and keep seeking.

*Keep it short; it's not what you pray as much as your faith. 

*What if they do get healed?? Praise the Lord!!!! If nothing happens then do not worry, you have not guaranteed the person anything if you have only offered to pray for them. So just encourage them to keep believing because sometimes it takes time to be healed (or the person may not even recognize/acknowledge the healing right away).

HOW to HEAL the SICK --- with Isaiah Saldivar                                                                        

Notes from the above video:

• Whether they get healed or not, share Jesus!!! The reason we ask for healing in others is because of Jesus
• Isaiah prefers to first act as if the sickness is due to a demon, command to bind the demon, and see how the person feels, then keep going. We have the authority to bind demons in Jesus' name, and if there is no sign of a demon then he will work on praying directly for healing. But remember that demons do cause sickness and if present they will block healing and miracles from happening.
• There may more likely be a demon involved if the sickness has been present for a long time and doctors haven't figured it out. Medication can soothe demons but there's no healing there.
• If you pray and they are not healed, pray a 2nd, 3rd, etc, then if still there are no results ask God if there is unbelief in me.
• Specifically pray for what needs healed
• After a healing occurs, we can advise the person to go see their doctor to verify the healing.
• Cloth items can be blessed to provide healing (remember many people only needed to reach out in faith and touch the hem of Jesus' garment to be healed)
• Even without much faith just doing what we're supposed to do God will work miracles, even if the person is remote and hands cannot be laid on them
• Start with gratitude for what Jesus did for us then move into prayer for healing
• Miracles are essential for church growth and personal growth --- healing spreads the gospel better than anything and should be a normal occurrence in our lives
• The Holy Spirit is the helper, not the doer, and our faith needs activated for Him to work
• We can do even greater works than Jesus and every person Jesus prayed for got healed!!
• You are the student and Jesus is the teacher
• We don't beg for God to heal the sick, God wants to heal them more than we do. So don't beg for what we've already been given, just ask!!!
• Any sickness can be a demon but not all is
• It's ok to stop without a healing, but say you'll keep praying for the person.
• Don't put the responsibility on them, it's on us; Jesus rebuked the disciples for being faithless when they couldn't heal a man's demon possessed son --- the boy needed deliverance, not healing, and the disciples didn't realize that. The burden of proof is on us.
• Prayer and fasting break the demonic power of unbelief
• Lord all I'm doing is loaning you my hands for you to do the work (God healed thru Paul's hands)
• If I don't have signs, wonders and miracles in my life I don't have the full gospel
• When the gospel of the KINGDOM (not just the gospel of salvation BUT of deliverance and healing) is preached to all nations, then the end will come
• We preach the benefits, Jesus preached the price (of God's will)
• There were no pastors in the bible
• Some miracles don't happen immediately but they happen as we walk in the word (in middle of the night maybe) and from a distance
• Miracles can happen at a distance by angels, by spoken words, by blessed cloth, by laying on of hands (best to do that if possible)
• God can create all things new (Isaiah's 1st miracle was creating a missing bone in a lady's knee 2 weeks after being saved). He states: "We come against every demonic spirit and every generational curse (name the condition) and we bind them in Jesus' name - we speak to any spirit of sickness and command your power to be broken and leave the body now. Everything demonic must be broken now. We loose you now in Jesus' name and command you to go to the abyss. God we thank you and we command every sickness (name them) to be healed in Jesus' name. Be restored in the name of Jesus."
• The best way to fail is to begin with doubt in God's power. Lukewarm Christians cannot deliver and heal in God's name.
• Psalm 103:3 --- He was beaten unrecognizable on the whipping post to become as our sin
• Remember that he took on the sins of man so that we could be saved --- he provides our salvation AND our deliverance and healing.
